Gadi Sternis a piano player and composer best known for his work with the successful piano trio SHALOSH. He has been working in the line between NY and Israel for the past ten years, basing his work between the NY and Tel Aviv Jazz scene, and touring with SHALOSH.
He is known for his uncompromising composition and improvisation style, and his unique use of crossing genres between classical music, Jazz and Rock music.
Gadi Stern has toured USA, Canada, South America Europe and Asia with SHALOSH, Camila Mezza, Ohad Talmor, Don Panch Terry, Martin Seiler and many more, he has won the downbeat award, the NRG award and his compositions with SHALOSH have been played around the globe.
Gadi's musical work varies from writing for theater productions, dance and cinema, to performing both his own compositions as well as being a sideman. As a teacher Gadi Stern is known for his unique approach to music teaching and has given masterclasses around the world in the subjects of improvisation, composition and their philosophical aspects.
